Bhubaneswar: The maximum day temperature is likely to rise by three to five degrees Celsius in several districts of Odisha during the next four days, informed the Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar of IMD on Monday.
“The Northern Limit of Monsoon continues to pass through 05°N/60°E, 06°N/70°E, 7°N/75°E, 8°N/80°E, 13°N/84°E, 16°N/87°E, 18.5°N/89.5°E, 21°N/93°E. Maximum temperatures observed marked fall at most places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, at one or two places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha and Interior Odisha, appreciable fall at many places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha, at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha, at one or two places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha, the IMD said in a bulletin.
Temperature forecast: Maximum (day) temperature is likely to rise by 3°C to 5°C during next three to four days and no large change thereafter at many places over the districts of Odisha, it added.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
For Tuesday (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 28.05.2024to 0830 hrs IST of 29.05.2024)
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
