Dense Fog Disrupts Air Services To And From Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Several flights to and from Biju Patnaik International Airport Bhubaneswar were delayed today morning as dense fog engulfed the city and nearby areas. The visibility had dwindled to as low as less than 50 meters in some places in the capital. Arrival and departure of several flights was delayed and passengers were stranded for many hours from early morning today.

According to reports, IndiGo flights from Mumbai and Delhi to Bhubaneswar were delayed. The morning AirAsia flight from Kolkata and Vistara flight from Mumbai were also delayed due to fog.

The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast that the temperature will further drop in several districts by another two to four degress in the coming days. Foggy conditions will also continue in several districts.
