Deogarh: The Odisha Vigilance officials today arrested head clerk at Barkote Tahasil office in Deogarh district for allegedly accepting bribe.
The accused head clerk has been identified as Raj Kishore Kalo.
Kalo has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.5000 from a complainant in order to facilitate issuance of ROR in favor of the complainant.
The bribe amount has been recovered from Kalo and seized.
In this connection, Rourkela Vigilance PS Case has been registered. The investigation is in progress against Kalo, the vigilance said.
