Bhadrak: The Dhamnagar by-polls are continuing peacefully and about 22.36 percent voters have cast their votes till 11 AM today. According to Chief Electoral Officer Sushil Kumar Lohani, minor technical issues in the Electronic Voting Machines were reported at five booths – booth numbers 15, 69, 74, 75, and 165, after which the polling officials replaced the Ballot Unit, Control Unit, Memory of EVM and the VVPATs there. Replying to queries about the death of a polling official Natabara Munda, he said that the next of kin of the deceased will be provided Rs 15 lakh compensation as per the ECI guidelines.
