Dhenkanal: Hindol SDPO Malaya Kishore Nayak, who has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance for accepting bribe, was sent to jail on Thursday.
Nayak was sent to judicial custody after his bail plea was rejected by Dhenkanal Special Vigilance Court.
Earlier, the vigilance sleuths have apprehended the cop while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.30,000 from a stone quary owner to facilitate stone quarrying and transportation.
