ECI Announces Schedule For By-election For Dhamnagar Assembly Constituency: Voting On 3rd November

Bhubaneswar: The Election Commission of India has announced the schedule for the by-elections to Dhamnagar Assembly Constituency in Bhadrak District. The elections were necessitated due to the death of the sitting BJP MLA Bishnu Charan Sethi. As per the press note issued by the ECI, the Gazette notification will be published on 7th October.

The last date for nominations will be 14th October 2022. While scrutiny of the nominations will be held on 15th October, candidates can withdraw their candidature by 17th October. Polling of votes will be held on 3rd November and counting of votes will be held on 6th November 2022.
