Bhubaneswar: In Odisha, every family has a Mission Shakti member. The identity of Mission Shakti is not just baadi, papad and achar, it is now an enterprise, said Sujata R Karthikeyan, Commissioner cum Secretary, Mission Shakti Department at a function here on Sunday.
The Mission Shakti Secretary has felicitated successful women entrepreneurs and SHGs at the News18 Odia Atmanirbhar Odisha – Odisha Business Leadership Awards 2022.
Speaking on the occasion, she said, “Whenever we talk about Mission Shakti members, we generally think of baadi, papad and achar. You don’t really think of business.”
“I feel doubly honored to represent 70 lakh members of Mission Shakti”, she said.
Mission Shakti members are there across the State. It would not be an exaggeration to say that every family in Odisha has a Mission Shakti member, she added.
