Bhubaneswar: The first meeting of the Manifesto Committee of the Biju Janata Dal was held here on Saturday.
Various issues were discussed in the committee meeting, which was held at Sankha Bhawan, Party office of the BJD.
BJD President Naveen Patnaik has formed the 38-member Manifesto Committee for the ensuing General and State Assembly elections.
The Committee, which is chaired by MP Chandra Sekhar Sahu, will have discussions with various sections of society from different areas, different age groups and prepare a manifesto that will lead to transformation towards “New Odisha – Empowered Odisha”.
