Bhubaneswar: Odisha Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari will present the Interim Budget in the form of Vote-On-Account for the first four months of the financial year in the State Assembly today. Due to the Panchayat and Urban polls and the Model Code of Conduct, the government could not present the full fledged Budget this year.
The Full Budget will pe presented in the next session of the Assembly. The State Cabinet and the Council of Ministers had approved the Vote o Account on Sunday. Odisha Cabinet has approved the budget of Rs 2 lakh crore for the financial year 2022-23, which is about Rs 30 thousand Crore more than the Budget of last year.
