Bhubaneswar: Former Odisha Governor Murlidhar Chandrakant Bhandare passed away. He was 95.
Bhandare was appointed as Governor of Odisha in August 2007. He continued in the office till March 2013. As a veteran leader of Congress party, Bhandare was elected to Rajya Sabha for three terms. He had also practiced as Senior Advocate of Supreme Court of India and was President of Supreme Court Bar Association for two terms.
Odisha Governor Raghubar Das has grieved the demise of Bhandare.
