Berhampur: The Ganjam Police have hastened action against notorious sand mafia Krupasindhu Muduli and his associates. A special team comprising Ganjam IIC, Kodala IIC and Chatrapur SDPO conducted raids yesterday at the office of Krupasindhu at Lanjipalli in Berhampur and his residence in Gobindabihar Lochapada. It is learnt that the special team has seized important documents with regard to sand smuggling and illegal activities. On the other hand, the investigation into the case of smuggling of sand with fake Y forms is still going on. Meanwhile, the Ganjam Police has taken remand of Muduli and one of his accomplices Gosthachandra Padhi and interrogated about the illegal activities.
