Berhampur: The officer trainees of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and the Royal Bhutan Civil Services (RBCS) have highly praised the 5T transformational initiatives being implemented in Rangeilunda block of Ganjam district.
As many as 38 officers of IAS and RBCS, who are in Ganjam district on a study tour as part of their Bharat Darshan programme, have visited the Chandpur Panchayat of Rangeilunda block.
They have gained a first-hand experience of various development projects being implemented under the 5T initiatives of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik-led Odisha Government.
The Ganjam administration welcomed the officers to the GP and made a presentation on the successful implementation of various transformational programmes in the block.
The Ganjam admin officials explained how the development schemes have been successful executed in the block following the Chief Minister’s 5T principles of governance – transparency, team work, technology and time leading to transformation.
The transformative initiatives across various sectors have played a major role in creating a trust among the people towards the administration, they said.
The IAS probationers learnt about the successful implementation of major development schemes like Mission Shakti, GP Bhawan and rural parks executed through convergence under 5T initiative in Chandpur Panchayat.
On the occasion ‘Mo Gelha Jhia’ and Nirbhaya Kadhi programmes were also organized in the GP.
The two programmes, brainchild of brain child of Collector Ganjam Vijay Amruta Kulange, have played vital roles in improving the child sex ratio and reducing child marriage in the district.
The IAS trainees were explained the about the programmes through cultural programmes.
They have lauded the initiatives of the Ganjam administration.
Ganjam PD DRDA Shinde Dattatraya Bhausaheb, Rangeilunda BDO Prasana Kumar Patra and other officials of district administration were present on the occasion.
