Berhampur: In a tragic incident, two children died after falling into a septic tank in Takarada village under Badagada police station in Odisha’s Ganjam district.
The deceased have been identified as Basumati Sethi of Siddhapur village and Divya Sethi of Kalaiguda village. Both the girls aged five years old.
As per reports, the two girls had gone to their maternal uncle’s place in Takarada village. They were playing on the top of an old septic tank when it collapsed.
The family members rescued the girls and admitted them to Surada Community Health Center in a critical condition. They died at the health centre, as per reports.
