Ghatgaon Road Accident: 5T Chairman Speaks to Collectors of Ganjam, Keonjhar to Help Victims with Utmost Care
Bhubaneswar: 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian on Friday spoke to the Collectors of Ganjam and Keonjhar districts to facilitate coordination and help the victims in the Ghatgaon road accident with utmost care.
As many as eight persons died and 12 persons sustained injuries in the road accident that occurred near Ghatgaon in Keonjhar district this morning. All the victims belong to Digapahandi area in Ganjam district.
The 5T Chairman spoke to Ganjam Collector Dibya Jyoti Parida and Keonjhar Collector Ashish Thakare to facilitate coordination and help the victims with utmost care.
Earlier, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed his profound grief over the loss of lives in the tragic accident.
The Chief Minister has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 3 lakh each to the next kin of the deceased and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families.
The CM ordered to provide free medical treatment to the injured people and wished them a speedy recovery.
