Gold Reserves Detected in Three Odisha Dists 

Bhubaneswar: Gold reserves have been detected in three districts of Odisha, informed Steel and Mines Minister Prafulla Mallik in the Assembly on Monday.

In reply to a question, the Minister stated that gold stones have been found in different areas of Keonjhar, Deogarh and Mayurbhanj districts. The State Directorate of Mines and Geological Survey of India (GSI) have found precious metals, the he said.

The gold mines have been found in several areas Gopur, Gajipur, Kusakala, Adal and Saleikana, Dimirimunda and Karadanga in Keonjhar district. The costly metal has been detected at Jashipur, Saraguda, Ruansi, Idelkucha, Badampahar and Suleipat (Dhusura hill) of Mayurbhanj district.

In Deogarh, the gold mines have also been traced in Adas area, he added. .
