Bhubaneswar: HDFC Bank, the leading bank in the country, has launched its 208th branch in Odisha and 35th branch in the city of Bhubaneswar at Phulnakhra.
The branch was inaugurated by Soumendra Kumar Priyadarshi, Commissioner of Police Bhubaneswar -Cuttack.
This branch will provide all loans and facilities to all nearby villages and gram panchayats as well along with catering to the expansion of commercial and residential expansion of the areas, the bank said in a statement.
SHG loans were disbursed to three Women SHG Groups and cheques were handed over to Women SHG’s by Soumendra Kumar Priyadarshi.
HDFC Bank also disbursed loans for Two wheelers, Four wheelers, tractors and commercial vehicles.
Deepak Kumar Singh, Zonal Head, HDFC Bank, Odisha stated that HDFC Bank is committed to providing world-class services and all types of loans in the state of Odisha. Singh said that the Bank will also expand its ATM, BC Points, and branches in Odisha to help achieve the objective of financial inclusion in the State.
Singh reiterated that HDFC Bank will add another 50 more branches in this financial year in Odisha.
Animesh Biswal Vice President and Manas Mahapatra Branch Manager and all Senior Officials were present on the occasion.
This branch will help in Financial Inclusion and will add to progress of all nearby entrepreneurs and farmers, the bank said.
