Bhubaneswar: Further expanding its operations in Odisha, India’s leading private sector lender HDFC Bank has launched the 400th ATM in the State.
The new ATM was opened at Sankheswar Gram Panchayat of Tirtol Block in Jagatsinghpur district on Sunday.
The ATM was inaugurated by Sangram Keshari Mohapatra, Project Director Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya and Dharitri Mohapatra in presence of HDFC Bank officials and Sarpanch and village members.
The event was attended by Animesh Biswal, Vice President of HDFC Bank, Saumendra Kar, Admin Head of Odisha and Jharkhand, Kalinga Sahoo ATM Head of Odisha and Branch Managers of Jagatsinghpur district.
HDFC Bank said that it is committed to provide best of the services to rural India. This ATM is 400th ATM of HDFC Bank in Odisha and the bank will add more ATMs in rural pockets of Odisha in coming days, it added.
The new ATM will be providing services to more than 30000 population in and around Sankheswar village. It will be the only ATM functional for nearby 8 villages.
