Bhubaneswar: HDFC Bank, the leading private sector bank in the country, has opened its state-of-the-art assets and loan hub in Infocity here on Tuesday.
The HDFC Bank Loan Centre was inaugurated by Arun Bothra, IPS, Addl DG, Crime branch. This centre is dedicated to the economic and social growth of the State and will provide all digital loans to the customers in Odisha.
This Ultra Modern centre was inaugurated which has 600 employees working in the centre. This centre also runs 24 Hours CTS Clearing for 5 States in India. HDFC Bank also runs its CSR wing Parivartan Skilling Centre from this premise. HDFC Bank Parivartan imparts various skill building programs under its CSR activity in Odisha.
Bothra inaugurated the ABT (Assistant Beauty therapist) a new trade started from this FY 2023-24 under Banks CSR Parivartan. In this trade Bank has taken a target to train 240 young girls and women from age group 18-32 years. These trainees will be going to be women entrepreneurs in upcoming days providing door step service for beauty and wellness including Mehendi and Nail Art.
Till date 60 young girls/women have been trained who will be going for placement very soon. Shri Bothra interacted with the girls students who are in the training.
Speaking at the inauguration event, Bothra appreciated HDFC Bank’s efforts in CSR , MSME loans , Financial Inclusion and also supporting in awareness on cyber frauds among citizens , students and different offices in Odisha.
This centre will fulfill State’s objective in all round development and supporting women empowerment.
In this occasion GM of CRUT Sanjay Biswal and all Loan Heads and Operations Head of HDFC Bank were present.
