Bhubaneswar: India’s leading private sector lender HDFC Bank has signed an agreement with Paradip Port Trust for PCS Integration.
As per agreement, HDFC Bank through its technology support will be facilitating online collections from port users vide different digital platforms seamlessly.
The bank will provide this facility to all users without any charges.
D.N Sondhi, FA & CAO, Paradip Port Trust and Deepak Kumar Singh, Senior Vice President & State Head, HDFC Bank Ltd., Odisha signed the agreement in presence of other senior officials of both sides.
Largely all users across India will be benefitted with this service, HDFC Bank said.
HDFC Bank has completed its 20 years of operations in Odisha. In the last 20 years, the bank has developed a network of 150 branches and 276 ATMs catering to the financial needs of different segments of the society. Over 60 per cent of these are in the semi-urban and rural areas.
The bank also plans to set up 73 additional Business Correspondents (BC) in the State. The BC network will help bridge the last-mile connectivity in making banking products and services available to customers and take banking to the remote places in the State.
