Bhubaneswar: Heat wave conditions continue to prevail in Odisha with several places recording above 40 degree Celsius by 2.30 pm on Friday.
As per the regional meteorological centre, Jharsuguda is the hottest place with 44.6 degrees Celsius. The temperature of Sambalpur and Bhubaneswar is 44.4 degrees Celsius.

Jharsuguda: 44.6 degrees Celsius
Bhubaneswar: 44.4 degrees
Sambalpur: 44.4 degrees
Hirakud: 43.8 degrees
Keonjhar: 40 degrees
Chandbali: 37.6 degrees
Balasore: 35 degrees
Gopalpur: 36.8 degrees
Puri: 34.8 degrees
Paradip: 33.4 degrees Celsius
Meanwhile, the IMD said that the heat wave will prevail in some districts for four days.
The current meteorological condition indicates that there will be no large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) during the next four days and thereafter there will be a slight fall in temperature at many places over the districts of Odisha, the IMD stated.
