Bhubaneswar: Heavy rain is likely to lash several parts of Odisha till June 25, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall and thunderstorm with lighting may occur at isolated places across the State.
Under the influence of southerly or southwesterly winds from the Bay of Bengal, most places in the State are to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall till June 25, the IMD said.
Squally weather with wind speed of 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph is very likely over Northwest Bay of Bengal along and off Odisha-West Bengal coasts till June 22, it added.
