Bhubaneswar: The first full trial run of the Vande Bharat Express from Howrah to Puri began today morning. The semi-high speed trail left Howrah today morning at 6. 10 AM and is scheduled to arrive at Puri at 12. 35 pm. The train has stoppages at Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, and Khordha. The new Vande Bharat will stop for two minutes at each of these stations.
From Puri, the train will leave at 1. 50 pm and reach Howrah at 8. 30 PM. According to sources, there will be more trial runs of the train between Howrah, Bhadrak and other stations in the coming week. While the final schedule, route and pricing are yet to be conformed, the train is likely to be flagged off in the month of May.
