Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday said that he does not believe in words, but in action.
Addressing a public meeting at Padmapur in Bargarh district, the Chief Minister said, “.I believe in action, not in words.
“Today I am very glad to come once again to Jharbandh, Padmapur and Paikmal. I met you in December last year. I am overwhelmed by your immense love, respect and blessings. For this I am forever indebted to you”, Naveen said.
The CM said, “Last time I had made some announcements for Padmapur Constituency. Out of that, Paikmal Primary Health Center has been upgraded into Community Health Center. Chakradhara dam work has already started. Land for 133/11 KV substation has been identified. I announced about Padmapur district last December. This must be done within one year”.
Targeting the Union Ministers, Naveen said, “Union Ministers from Delhi came to Padmapur during the last by-election and made many promises about paddy procurement, crop insurance, railways, Kendu leaf, GST etc.”
“My humble request to Lord Nrusinghanatha is to remind the Central Ministers about their promises”.
The Chief Minister also sanctioned Rs 64 crore for the development of the Padmapur constituency.
“Sanctioning money based on peoples’ proposal is the first in the history of Odisha,” the CM said while adding it will help in the development of the region.
The Chief Minister also sanctioned Rs 1.23 crore assistance to members of Mission Shakti and expressed hope that it will help them to become good entrepreneurs.
