I Have Been Sidelined in BJP: Jayanarayan Mishra

Bhubaneswar: All is not well within the Odisha BJP. It is not less than 24 hours that Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave his guru mantras to party leaders and workers of the state unit to move forward by maintaining proper coordination, veteran BJP leader and Sambalpur MLA Jayanarayan Mishra vented his anger over the organizational affairs within the saffron party.

Speaking at the condolence meeting held in memory of former minister Samir Dey, the Sambalpur MLA expressed his strong displeasure at the party leadership.

Making an explosive statement in the presence of state BJP President Manmohan Samal and several senior party leaders, Jayanarayan Mishra said that he has been sidelined in the BJP.

The BJP heavyweight has vented all the resentment that has been in his mind for a long time.

The party did not give due importance to Samir Dey that the deceased leader deserved, Mishra said while adding that he is being treated in the same way.

Mishra further said, “I was thrown out from ABVP. The party is also sidelining me. I have been a leader of no-so-significant in the party”.

The Sambalpur MLA also alleged that the leaders in the party are using henchmen to put him into trouble.
