Bhubaneswar: The vigilance sleuths have arrested an ICDS supervisor in Bolangir district for allegedly taking bribe from anganwadi workers.
Kuni Naik, ICDS Supervisor, Rodh Sector & I/c Bharsuja Sector, Agalpur Block, Bolangir has been apprehended while demanding and accepting bribe Rs.19,800 from six Anganwadi Workers out of the contingency and other funds received by them for running the Anganwadi Centres.
In this connection, Sambalpur Vigilance P.S. Case No.24/22 U/s 7 P.C.
(Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered against the supervisor. The investigation in the matter is underway, the vigilance said.
