Puri: In an unprecedented incident, the idol of Lord Balabhadra slipped during the Adapa Bije Pahandi at the world famous Rath Yatra in Puri on Tuesday.
The idol slipped on the Charamala while being taken from Taladhwaja chariot to the Adapa Mandap of Gundicha temple.
At least five servitors of Srimandir were injured in the incident. They were admitted to the Puri District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), as per reports.
