Berhampur: Crossing another milestone in providing quality healthcare for the citizens, the Berhampur Municipal Corporation has received ISO Certification for all the six Urban Health Wellness Centers under its jurisdiction.
The BeMC has been continuously improving the infrastructure and facilities in all its health centers. It has also taken stringent steps to maintain the quality of services.
The six Urban Health Wellness Centers include – UHWC Tulsinagar, HWC Meenakhinagar, UHWC Ankuli, UHWC Gosaninuagaon, UHWC Ambapua and UHWC Haridakhandi. All the UHWCs are providing quality service with full fledged manpower with timely guidance by National Urban Health Mission.
Speaking on the achievement, J Sonal, Commissioner, BeMC says that “Our constant endeavor is to improve the quality of services in all our health facilities. We have seen that the number of people coming to these health centers avoiding private clinics is increasing. We have also increased the manpower in these facilities. We strive to give our citizens the best possible service. These certifications will help achieve many more successes.”
