In His First Review After Being Chairman 5T Initiatives, VK Pandian Asks Officials To Complete Heritage Corridor Project Works By December 15th
Puri: After assuming his new duty as Chairman 5T (Transformational Initiatives) and Nabin Odisha, on the orders of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, VK Pandian today undertook his first review meeting of the Heritage Corridor Project works in Puri. During his early morning review between 4 AM to 6 AM, he visited the Heritage Corridor Project works and interacted with the officials regarding the progress made.
During his review, he has ordered the officials to accelerate the pace of works and complete all the project works by December 15th. He said, it will give a new experience to the visitors in the New Year. Pandian has asked the officials to speed up the renovation works of the various Mathas in Puri. He also advised the officials to include native varieties of trees and plants that are associated with Jagannath Culture in the landscaping works under the Heritage Corridor Project. Pandian also took stock of the works related to the four entrances.
VK Pandian directed the officials present to make adequate arrangements for parking of two wheelers for the convenience of the local people. In addition, he stressed the importance of shifting the various utilities from near the Meghnad wall and completing the Electricity works of the project on schedule.
He also reviewed the progress of the Jagannath Ballabha parking works and the various amenities for the visitors, Pramod Udyana and the Sri Setu work and directed the officials to complete the work on schedule. 5T (Transformational Initiatives) and Nabin Odisha Chairman asked the officials to engage more workers to complete the works on schedule. During this visit, Puri District Collector, SP, MD OBCC and officials of various executing agencies were present.
