Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government today effected a major IPS cadre reshuffle, appointing Akhileshwar Singh as new Superintendent of Police, Jagatsinghpur.
A notification has been issued by the Home Department in this regard on Friday.
Akhileshwar Singh, currently Commandant, SOG has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Jagatsinghpur, the notification reads.
Singh will replace Prakash R, who has been transferred and posted to Vigilance organization.
S. Dev Dutta Singh, on repatriation from Central deputation is posted as IGP, Head Quarter.
P. S. Parshottamdas, at present Superintendent of Police. Mayurbhanj has been appointed as Superintendent of Police, Nabarangpur.
Rahul Jain, at present Superintendent of Police, Nuapada has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Bargarh.
Pratyush Diwaker, at present AIGP, Head Quarter, has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Nuapada.
K. R. Dnyandeo, at present Superintendent of Police, Malkangiri has been appointed as Superintendent of Police, Mayurbhanj.
P. S. Meena, at present Superintendent of Police, Nabarangpur, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Malkangiri.
