Job Scam: ED Interrogates Akash Pathak

Bhubaneswar: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today grilled Akash Pathak, son of tainted IFS officer Abhay Kant Pathak, in connection with the job scam.

A team of ED interrogated Akash Pathak at Special Jail here in Jharpada in connection with a case of duping job seekers to on the pretext of employing them with Tata Motors.

Earlier, the ED had interrogated the tainted IFS officer in this case, according to reports.

Akash Pathak had allegedly cheated job aspirants of Rs 6 lakh each by impersonating a senior officer of Tata Motors.
He had also given fake appointment letters to several youths by offering them jobs of graduate engineer and management trainee with salaries ranging between Rs 7 lakh and Rs 8 lakh per annum.
