Jolt to BJP in MP: Scindia Supporter Returns to Congress

Bhopal: With the election fever gaining momentum each passing day in Madhya Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party seems to be losing the ground to Congress. BJP’s prominent Yadav leader and Jyotiraditya Scindia supporter Baijnath Singh Yadav, who had joined the party leaving the Congress in 2020 along with Scindia, on Wednesday left the saffron party and rejoined the Congress.

Baijnath took with him a number of Yadav leaders to the Congress camp. He has leveled corruption charges against the saffron party, as per reports.

Some other Scindia supporters including some ministers are also skeptical to get tickets from the saffron party and they might also join the Congress in the coming days. Those who defected along with Scindia are the most worried about getting tickets this time and the BJP is also said to have not made any commitment for tickets for the 2023 elections, reports stated.
