Cuttack: Justice Subhasis Talapatra today took oath as the 33rd Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court. Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal administered the oath of office to him. He took oath at a ceremony held at the High Court premises in the presence of all the judges of the High Court, senior officials and other dignitaries. He succeeds Justice S Muralidhar who retired yesterday. Justice Talapatra had joined the Orissa High Court on 10th June 2022. Earlier to that he was a judge at the Tripura High Court.
