Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Thursday apprehended a Gram Rojgar Sevak (GRS) for allegedly taking bribe from a job card holder in MGNREGA scheme.
Margret Panigrahy, GRS, Badkorlakot G.P, Jaypatna Block, Kalahandi was caught by vigilance sleuths while taking bribe Rs.15,000 from a job card holder to prepare the muster roll and ensure payment to him and other job card holders in MGNREGA scheme.
In this connection, Koraput Vigilance PS Case No. 36/2023 U/s 7 P.C Amendment Act,2018 has been registered. Investigation is in progress, the Vigilance said.
