Kandhamal: An elderly woman’s life was saved when a patrol team of SOG Jawans acted humanly and helped her to shift to the hospital in Kandhamal district. The incident happened in Kandhamal’s Mao infested Labariketa village in Gochapada Panchayat.
The Jawans of Special Operation Group were on an anti Maoist patrolling in the dense area when they got the information about the elderly woman. Without delay, they carried the ailing woman on a cot for three kilometers and made her to reach the hospital. After carrying her on the cot through the unmotorable road and arranged a vehicle to shift her to the district headquarter hospital. The humanly act of the Jawans has been appreciated by all.
