Kandhamal: Security forces have busted a major Maoist dump in Kandhamal district and recovered several materials from the spot.
Based on reliable input, an anti-Maoist operation was launched by joint team of SOG and DVF, Kandhamal on August 16 under Gochhapada P.S. in Kandhamal.
During the course of operation on combing the area on August 17 the security forces found some Maoist articles which were dumped in a cave near village Sumangi under Gochhapada P.S. limits.
The recovered Maoist articles include four gelatine sticks, 3 bundles of electric wires, 2 meters safety fuse, seven packets of M-Seal, three black taps, one box-sealing tape, one packet of screw, some medicines, two IV sets of saline pine, contraceptives, one pair of Maoist uniform, one web belt, three blankets, five jackets, five ladies inner wears, six bottles of coconut hair oil, 23 body bath soaps and 250 gram tea powder, according to police.
