Phulbani: Suspected Maoists have brutally killed a youth in Kandhamal district’s Baliguda Police Station limits. The incident happened in Tupudi village of Sudra Panchayat last evening, when the youth Nilakantha was dragged from his house and killed by a group of outlawed Maoists KKBN group suspecting him of being Maoist informer.
The district police have recovered the dead body and sent it for post mortem. Maoists have also left a poster and a banner at the place of the incident warning more attacks. The Police have launched a massive combing operation in the area.
