Kaniha Brahmani Bridge Named After Freedom Fighter Pabitra Mohan Pradhan

Bhubaneswar: The bridge built over river Brahmani at Kaniha in Angul district has been named as ‘Pabitra Mohan Setu’ in the memory of noted freedom fighter, leader of Praja Mandal and former Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha Late Pabitra Mohan Pradhan.
A proposal in this regard has been approved by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Notably, during the visit of Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian to Talcher on July 11, the people had requested to name the bridge built over Brahmani river in the name of Late Pabitra Mohan Pradhan.
Accordingly, the State Government has named the bridge in the name of one of prominent leaders of Praja Mandal movement and former Deputy Chief Minister Late Pabitra Mohan Pradhan.
The 511-metre-long bridge which connects Shiling with Talpada road has been built at a cost of Rs 45.79 crore.
