Kejriwal Appeals Centre to Cancel Flights From Singapore; Says New Covid Strain ‘Very Dangerous’ for Kids

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday appealed to the Centre to cancel flights from Singapore, stating that a new strain of COVID-19 in that country is said to be very dangerous for children.

Kejriwal said that the new strain of coronavirus in Singapore is said to be very dangerous for children.

It could reach the country in the form of a third wave, he added.
The Delhi Chief Minister also urged the Centre to work on vaccine alternatives for children on a priority basis.
