Bhubaneswar: One of Odisha’s oldest annual fairs, the Khandagiri Mela will not be held this year due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation. A decision in this regard will be taken by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation very soon. The Mela, along with the Jatras have been decided to be cancelled keeping in view the Covid situation in the Capital and to avoid gathering of crowd. There will be curbs on gathering of people, Jatra may also be canceled, informed BMC additional commissioner today.
