Bhubaneswar: The Khandagiri Police had arrested twelve brokers from AIIMS hospital in Bhubaneswar on charges of illegally selling tickets to patients.
As part of its commitment to make hospitals broker free, the Police is carrying out a special drive and taking strict action against them.
These twelve people were involved in selling doctors’ appointment tickets for hefty amounts to the patients who came to AIIMS especially from faraway places.
Acting on a tip off the Khandagiri Police raided the premises and arrested the dalals.
