Land Records of Srimandir to Be Digitised

Puri: The land records of the Srimandir in Puri will be digitised, informed Vir Vikram Yadav, Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), on Tuesday.

A database of land records will also be prepared, the SJTA Chief Administrator said after the crucial meeting of the temple administration.

Yadav said that the digitisation process will be initiated after receiving approval of the State Government.

At the meeting, the status of the Shree Mandir Adarsh Gurukul Society for the children of servitors and the housing project for servitors were also discussed.

The application for registration of Adarsh Gurukul Society, which will be run by Birla Foundation, has been filed with the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Odisha. The IGR has sought some compliance and it has been met, stated the Chief Administrator.

For discussions on the master plan, Birla Foundation will be invited to the next Management Committee meeting, he added.

The tender for the first phase construction of boundary wall of the housing project for servitor families at Harachandi Sahi will be opened on October 6 and the committee has ordered to speed up the work, the SJTA Chief Administrator said.
