Cuttack: For the first time ever in Odisha and perhaps in India, the organizers of the Hockey World Cup Celebrations used radio frequency controlled LED wrist bands that emitted colorful light in tune with the music and performance at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.
The organizers had issued the LED wrist bands to the audiences at the entrance which became an instant hit with them. The technologically backed up device helped the audience to be part of the live show.
The bright lights had a captivating view from the audiences during the performance. The blinking LED lights were radio controlled and designed to create a stunning light show at the Barabati Stadium. Multiple flash patterns with different colours were programmed to create a variety of visual effects at the stadium.
The Drone Show performed using more than 500 drones was also very captivating for the audience. The flying drones displayed a number of visual effects including that of Odisha Sports, Indian flag, picture of former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik, CM Naveen Patnaik, the Hockey World Cup Trophy and many more that were not only visible to the audience at the stadium but from many kilometers away.
