Bhubaneswar: In a major blow to the Odisha Bharatiya Janata Party days before the coming elections, Dr Lekhasri Samantsinghar, Vice-president of state BJP, has quit the party.
She informed about her resignation in a social media post on X.
In her resignation letter, Lekhasri has written that, despite her hard work and sincerity for the last ten years, she could not earn the trust of the leadership”.
“I feel there is nothing left for me to do here and my desire to serve the people of Odisha is being hampered”, she wrote.
