Dhenkanal: A carcass of leopard was recovered in a forest in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.
The forest officials recovered the carcass of the big cat in Dudurkote forest under Hindol forest range, as per sources.
Locals traced the carcass of the leopard and informed the forest officials about the same.
The forest officials reached the spot and recovered the decomposed carcass for post-mortem.
The cause of death of the big cat would be known only after the post-mortem report was submitted, officials stated.
The investigation in the matter is underway.
