Bhubaneswar: World Book Day is being celebrated today to promote and recognize the benefit of reading books, publishing and copyright.
On this special day, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik urged all to celebrate the transformational power of reading and encourage all to inculcate the habit of reading.
In a Twitter post, the Odisha CM said, “Books shape our thinking, empower us with knowledge, wisdom & inspire to scale new heights”.
“On World Book Day, let’s celebrate the transformational power of reading and encourage all to inculcate the habit of reading”, he appealed.

World Book Day, also known as World Book and Copyright Day, is an annual event organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to promote reading, publishing, and copyright.
