Likely Formation Of Low Pressure: Rainfall Activity To Increase In State For Five Days From Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: A cyclonic circulation is likely to form over East-central Bay of Bengal in the next 24 hours. Under its influence, a Low Pressure is also likely to form over West-central Bay of Bengal during the subsequent 48 hours. Under the influence of the system, various districts of Odisha are likely to receive heavy rainfall in the next five days.

Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Kalahandi districts are likely to get heavy rainfall on the 8th and 9th of September. Along with these districts, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Balangir and Nuapada districts are also likely to receive rains.
