Puri: Lord Jagannath has spoken through the voice of Supreme Court, said Puri MP Pinaki Misra after the apex court junked the petition challenging the Heritage Corridor Project at Srimandir.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik stands vindicated in his earnest attempt to create world class infrastructure to make Puri a World Heritage site, the Puri MP said.
Mishra further said that the Chief Minister has always tried to make this (Heritage Corridor Project) apolitical, by taking all parties along every step of the way, and inviting all leaders to the foundation stone laying ceremony till date.
“History will judge us in this hour of reckoning if this decisive legal verdict of the final court is not taken in the right spirit of Odiya glory for the sake of Lord Jagannath and the people of Puri”, he said in a Twitter post.

The Supreme Court on Friday refused to entertain petitions challenging the beatification works at the Shree Jagannath temple in Puri by the Odisha Government.
