Low Pressure To Bring Heavy Rains In Odisha Districts

Bhubaneswar: Under the influence of yesterday’s cyclonic circulation, a low pressure area has formed over north-west coast of Odisha. The low pressure area is likely to pass over Odisha in the next 48 hours in a west-northwest direction. Due to the low pressure, many districts of Odisha including the coastal, interior and northern districts will get heavy rainfall in the next three days.
Meanwhile, the Met Department has issued Orange warning for the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi and Kandhamal where Heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20cm) is very likely to occur at isolated places.
