Bhubaneswar: Sunil Kumar Rout, Chief Construction Engineer, Lower Suktel, Bolangir, has come under the scanner of Odisha Vigilance for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets.
Simultaneous house searches are being conducted by the Vigilance sleuths led by 2 Addl. SPs, 8 DSPs, 6 Inspectors, 10 ASIs and other supporting staff.
The raids are being carried out on the strength of Search Warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
The Vigilance officials are searching at the nine places linked with the Chief Construction Engineer in Bhubaneswar (Khordha), Puri, Angul, Cuttack and Bolangir districts.
The places are Rout’s residential triple storeyed building at Niladrivihar, Bhubaneswar; his double storeyed building at Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar; one flat at VIP Road, Puri; his another flat at Grand Road, Puri; his paternal house at Gurudijhatia, Cuttack; house of his son at Kishorenagar, Angul; house of his relative at Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar; Residence of Rout at Bolangir and office chamber of Rout at Bolangir.
