Bhubaneswar: The Maha Shivaratri will be held at the Lingaraj Temple here this year with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols.
A decision was taken in this regard on Friday at a meeting between the Khordha Collector and members of the Lingaraj Temple Trust Board.
The Mahadeepa will be placed atop the temple at 10 pm on the day of Maha Shivaratri.
However, no decision was taken regarding entry of devotees to the temple on Maha Shivaratri, which falls on March 1. It will be decided later.
